  This is my first review... I was treated so terribly that I felt compelled to share what happened. Plain and simple, I was treated like a criminal. Let me paint the picture. I had just gotten a new, wonderful job, and needed to buy a wardrobe that would fit my position. Banana Republic is a little pricey, but looking the part was well worth it to me, and with a set of twin boys I don't have a ton of time to go store to store so I packed up my kids after dinner and off we went. I got my interview outfit at the McKinney location, so I was aware of what sizes I needed. I had a few garments over my arm and my salesperson asked me if she'd like a room started for me. It was 8:00 and they closed at 9 and I told her I knew my size and it should be fine, and she raised and eyebrow and told me I couldn't return marked down orders. Ok. Fine... and after some silence I asked if they offered a bag for me to shop with, she responded to the negative, and then I asked if she could hold the clothes for me at the counter. I carried on planning my new business wardrobe, and when I was finished I realized it was only 8:20, and I let the salesperson (was never told her name, but she had very short dark hair with glasses, attractive) know that I had enough time to try on the clothes, and she seemed very put off. "U-oh, ok" and her demeanor in general was very rude. Check out time! I brought all of my clothes up to be checked out, and while she was scanning my kids were chattering to her about going to the Lego shop to her while she just looked down. I tried to make conversation but it was obvious she wanted nothing to do with me. THE KICKER: After she rang up the items and AFTER I paid with my card she said, "I'm going to need to see your ID." I just spent $750 dollars at your store and you assume so strongly that I am a scammer that you prejudge?? She didn't say, "IT's our policy for large orders that we have to ID" No... no. With a sneer and a harsh tone, "I'm going to need to see some ID" like a police officer. You would've thought it was Wells Fargo her demeanor was so terrible. What the hell. You have a customer who has spent over $1,500 with your company in the past 2 weeks and you can't hide your disdain? I spent a little more at the McKinney Ave location and they didn't card me. Now I wonder if my identity will be stolen. The ONLY reason I didn't walk out was because I had to have clothes for the following day, and time is money.
