  I had a terrible experience at the Minute Clinic at this CVS. I was in town for a business trip and showed up at 5:25 on a Sunday. The nurse practitioner was talking to a man in the hall (not a patient, unless he just wasn't in the exam room). At 5:34 she addressed me and said "eh...sorry you just missed the cut-off of 5:30. Come back tomorrow." I'm going to a Minute Clinic in the first place because I am not at home and can't go to my primary care, and it is not easy to get away from a convention especially if you are working it. She handed us a piece of paper with other late hour urgent care places. All were closed. Fortunately our boss let us come back the next day. We waited 45 minutes to see her. Once in the exam room I said, I want to make sure my insurance will cover this, since I am out of state. She took my card and looked up some things on her computer and said I would only owe the co-pay. She then took a strep and flu test, both of which were negative. She said there was nothing she could do. I got billed today for the full amount of a wasted trip. I ended up having Herpes Simplex 1 (mouth sores). Found out that often the first outbreak can be accompanied by flu like symptoms and a sore throat. I am very disappointed to be paying for a useless trip there.

  The DR under my health plan said they could fit me in 2 weeks from the day I called so I tried the CVS Minute Clinic. Walked right in with a sinus infection that turned into a ear infection (ear canal was swollen shut and painful). Robert diagnosed and prescribed me the meds to cure my ailment. So Thankful I tried Minute Clinic for something the Dr didn't want to see me for. Robert even took the time to give me a follow up call the next day to see how I was doing. My Dr of 5 years has never done that. Thanks Minute Clinic for helping me before the holidays.
