  My dad gave me a pair of Pioneer HPM-1100's some years ago. These are 35 year old, multichannel, 70lb cabinet speakers with 15" woofers. They are not light or new and I expected they would require some fairly complicated parts to repair. When they were handed over, one of them had a hole in one of the woofers due to an accident some years earlier. My old man never had a chance to repair them and I decided to take them in once I had the extra money. Based on online reviews, I decided to take them down to the guys at Freeman Tuell. I was immediately reassured when I walked in. The stock and shop seem tailor made to work on these type of older, large speakers. The gentlemen who took them was professional, courteous and assured me they would be able to fix them. It took about 60 days to find the right parts and get them in. I was excited to get them home and give them a test run and sure enough, they sound as good or better than I remember as a kid. The bass is perfect and they also made sure all the other components were still running in tolerances. For the price, I could not of asked for a better service. I can wholeheartedly endorse Freeman Tuell for speaker repair and you can bet that I will not only be using them in the future but I will be guiding everyone I know there for their repair needs.
