Reviews about Lakewood Collectibles
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆February 26, 2019, by Rachel SpiresI brought some trading cards to Lakewood Collectibles and, as the cards themselves were only worth about $10 each, was told the $10 minimum commission would not apply and they would only charge us a fee of 40% of the final sale price. Several weeks later I found that not only were a majority of my cards not even listed, the shipping price was outrageously inflated to $18, and the $10 commission would, in fact, apply, so Lakewood will be keeping all of the money from the sale of my items. It is a shame that eBay permits dishonest, unethical sellers like this to stay in business while banning small-time sellers for the most minor of problems. If you are looking for a way to sell your items on eBay without dealing with them directly, avoid Lakewood Collectibles unless you want your items and your money stolen.
