  This a rate for the men's shoes department. A very rude lady worked today. This was my first time in this department and I had never seen such a bad customer service. Her name is Tatiana if you ever go to the second floor of Macy's. I bought two things there, an appliance from the home department and shoes from men's. Both had the mail-rebate sale discount. So when I asked for a rebate form for the appliance they gave me one right away. But when I barely opened my mouth to asked her about the shoes she answered me rudely 'I cannot help you, I am helping another customer. When I finish with him I will help you' To what I said 'please I just need the rebate form' and she answered 'I don't know anything about a rebate form, if you don't have it then it's not on my desk' and she left me stading there. So I turned to the young lady at the register and explained to her what happened. And Tatiana looked at us and said 'it doesn't work for clearance'. It was not on clearance. I was completely sure Tatiana didn't know anything about what she had in her department. So I showed her the other form from the home department and she said embarrassed 'oh I didn't know you needed it that. I have some in my desk' I waisted time, energy, and my first experience at the men's department was totally disappointing. Please do something about this lady. She needs to know the meaning of exceeding the expectations of a customer.

  Horrible/nonexistent service. Racks as jumbled as a thrift store, without the prices to match. (Hint, you wouldn’t have half your store full of clearance if there was actually some way to find anything) Nice older gentleman in the shoe department was the only reason I added a star. He at least acknowledged my existence and smiled. Was a bit too busy to help, probably because he was the one actually working. TWODAY coupon in my “Macy’s wallet” not honored “that must be expired”. Even though it was clearly noted that it expired 1/15. TODAY. Not even as much as a “let me check on that.” Just “no”. Too bad, I remember when Macy’s was a nice department store. Now you may as well go to Ross. All their clearance will be there anyway, cheaper and organized by type/size.
